Privacy Policy
Effective: August 1, 2026
Purpose Software LLC (“we”, “us”) builds mobile apps, including Masterpiece, Resona, FlowHour and Auto Volume. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do. The short version: we collect only what an app needs to work, we don’t run ads, and we don’t sell your data.
Masterpiece
Masterpiece is a game in which you photograph ordinary objects and convince an AI curator they are masterpieces. To run it, we process:
- Account information. Your email address and the display name and handle you choose. You can sign in with email, Google or Apple.
- Your content. The photos you submit, the titles you give your works, and the text you write while defending them to the curator.
- AI processing.Your photo and written defense are sent to an AI language-model service to generate the curator’s responses and museum labels. This processing exists solely to run the game.
- Approximate location (optional). If you allow it, we use coarse, city-level device location to place your museum on the world Atlas. We never collect precise GPS coordinates, and the app works if you decline.
- Purchases. Subscription status is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play together with our billing partner RevenueCat. Your payment details never reach our servers.
- Notifications. A device push token, so we can notify you when someone admires your work, and your language so the notification arrives in it.
- Gameplay data. Daily invitations used, streaks, likes and popularity — the numbers the game itself displays.
What other players can see
When the curator accepts a work, it is exhibited publicly in the app: the photo, its title, the curator’s label, your handle, your museum’s city-level location on the Atlas, and its likes. Rejected works are never shown to other players.
What we never do
We show no advertising, we sell or rent personal data to no one, and we do not use your content to train AI models of our own.
Where your data lives
Data is hosted with Supabase (database and photo storage). Entitlements are managed by RevenueCat; notifications are delivered by Apple and Google. These providers process data only to provide their service to us.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time inside the app (Museum → settings → Account → Delete Account) or by emailing us from your registered address — no sign-in is required to request deletion by email. Deletion is permanent and completed within 30 days; we keep only what the law requires us to keep (for example, purchase records).
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or a copy of it in a portable format, by writing to contact@purpose-company.com. We answer within 30 days.
Our other apps
Resona, FlowHour and Auto Volume are designed to work without user accounts. Each app’s store listing carries a privacy label describing exactly what it touches.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the effective date above.
